What is a shareable launch moment?

What is a shareable launch moment? A shareable launch moment is a piece of content from your product launch that is worth sending to someone -- a cinematic, a countdown timer, a behind-the-scenes video, a funny milestone post, or a replay link. It is distinct from a product demo because its job is not to explain the product in detail but to make someone feel the excitement of the launch itself.

The test is simple: would a supporter forward this to a friend, post it to LinkedIn, or share it in a Slack group without being asked? If yes, it is shareable. A static screenshot of a pricing page is not. A 20-second rocket-launch video with your logo on the hull is.

Shareable moments work because distribution is the hardest part of launching. Anything that lets your existing audience extend your reach for free is worth engineering into your launch plan.
